##version #update #1.1 #feedback #changes
Hi everyone,
The first day has come and gone since the submission of Breaking Time to the Game Jam (and all these other wonderful games I'm enjoying!). I received some feedback from a couple of individuals in the first day, which I hugely appreciate. Feedback is the greatest single gift you can give to a developer, in particular one who is learning or working on a product for future delivery. It's literally gold!
With that in hand, I set out to improve a couple of aspects with this release, including:
- The Memory Scene at the end of the Platforming Section now slightly better introduces itself in a smoother transition
- The Choice made in that scene is a little clearer (highlighted, stays on screen longer)
- The player guide lighting has been enhanced for those dark nights, it has received double range, intensity and a whiter light
- Day/Night cycle doubled in duration (I could say this was predictive feedback from one user, but to be honest I wanted to change it too!)
And one bug and some feedback for future potential deployment (A.K.A. WIP):
- Player controller might need tweaking
- The rank (bronze/silver/gold/plat) should probably update on crystal transfer
Enjoy the game, and please do leave your thoughts in the comments! :)
