A downloadable game for Windows
  • Added Shuffle button to the Music Player (Defaults to Off)
  • Duplicate Selection in Editor
    • Bound to [Ctrl] + [D]
  • Map Boundary
    • There is now a limit to building
    • The boundary will be configurable per level in a future update

    • Scroll-Wheel zooms in/out
    • Pan with Middle Mouse Down
    • Restore Camera with [R]
    • On-Screen controls will come with a future update
  • Follow Camera in Play Mode
    • Follows the action
    • Can also Pan/Zoom, but will return to following after a short delay
  • Editor Autosave
    • Editor will now attempt to save on an interval (defaults to Off)
    • Added a setting to toggle the SFX during an autosave
  • Added [Delete] keybind
  • Added a validation check before changing from Editor or Build mode

Fixes

  • Volume Sliders now send settings updates
  • Music Player and Settings are now synced (changing one sets the other, and vice-versa)
  • Ending a Drag centers preview properly
  • Launcher flickering while held
  • Fixed an instance where spawnables could be moved from 1 level to another
  • A TON of bugs created by additions and changes

Tweaks

  • Attachments Reworked
    • The string Anchor and the Switchback are Attachments
    • Attachments now remain attached to spawnables when they are moved
    • Deleting a spawnable with an attachment will leave the attachment disconnected (but invalid)
  • Deleting a selected item deletes all selected items
  • Saving a level without a specified File will now save to a "_Temp" file
  • Camera Manager Reworked
    • Removed Cinemachine
  • Update Controls Text on Game Menu to reflect recent additions
  • Rotate and Scale controls also apply to a single-selected spawnable
  • Floors always pass validation now
  • Left-clicks now have a context
  • Many Camera tweaks

Known Issues

  • Strings can't be placed
  • String Dominoes are possessed

What's Next?

  • Themes!
    • Default Themes will be added which change the colors of (almost) everything, adding another layer of creation
    • Theme settings will be added
    • Custom Themes will likely come in a future update
  • Custom Levels!
    • Editor Levels can now be "published" and played from a new area
    • "Published" levels cannot be edited (but they can be updated)
    • Online functionality will likely come in a future update
  • A pack of developer levels to try and solve
    • My goal is to start building levels to add to these updates so the game feels less like an empty slate, and shows off what the game can do.
