Here we go VectorCore 0.5.0.0

Added - lots of things and more i wish i could be specific but once again i didnt keep notes but the big take aways are these-

  • VectorCore no longer requires everything in the arena to stop moving before the turn advances. You wont notice it much because there usually isnt much difference in board_settled and finalize_shot most of the time but we need it so we could -
  • Add orbital mechanics to the game. VectorCore now supports physics based mechanics while the match flows, no long is there a need  to stop physics for shots. That allows for some nice mechanics, like the aforementioned orbital mechanics so we could-
  • Add SunCore which uses gravity physics to create a natural orbital sphere. orb that get near it will begin orbiting. This was the big one. We aslo-
  • Added AegisCore which acts as the name implies, as a shield blocking (or making shots very hard) shots thru that forcefield. this core and the core above pair very well with -
  • Hexpillar - a new large arena  that stands like a column an sports some large wells. should make for fast rounds but if you think its too easy then check out -
  • Barbell - a new arena in the shape of a huge barbell. one well on each end and a deceptively easy looking set of wells around the choke point can make this arena a bit of a challenge. that is why we had to -
  • Make Ai smarter - specifically the way they aim, the way they decide their targets and the power they use when they shoot. It may actually give some a reason to tune that difficuly slider.


Beyond that the rest is boring stuff that doesnt have anything to do with how the game looks or plays just makes my life easier on the backend.
