So um... I finally, after two whole months of sitting on this project, figured out what was causing these two bugs to happen.
The first was causing the Cross to despawn and the other was the Lever not moving the wall.
It was all due to a very simple, lousy mistake. Take a look at the coding from the set-piece where you can escape from the demon while climbing boxes.
It's a switch batch that turns off WAY too many switches. This is obviously the issue here. I will rerelease the game entirely with the bugs fixed today, very soon. Once again, apologies for any inconvenience.
