Hey everyone! Second update includes a bunch of bug fixes that you have reported, along with new animations, polishing and clarifications. There is also a bunch of card changes as well as some new stickers. Also, enemies can now gain stickers that make them tougher to handle. These should give a little variety to enemy encounters and increase the difficulty as you defeat more enemies. There is more things coming to enemy encounters as well.

This patch includes:

Features:

  • Stickers on cards now display what they do once you hover over them.
  • Cards that give stats to other cards now play particle animations.
  • Enemies can now spawn with random stickers on them that make them tougher to deal with. The number of enemies with stickers will increase as the player wins battles.
  • New animations and small QoL features.

Cards:

Reworded many card description texts to make them easier to understand.

  • Gazebo: Changed to Free
  • New: Sisters
  • Barbarian: Changed trigger from "Start of battle" => "On play"

Stickers:

  • Sun: Now can't be put on cards that are already Free.
               Increased cost from 6 => 8
  • Book: Changed - On play, give a random ally 1 Power
  • Crown: Removed
  • NEW:  Arrow Rain
  • NEW: Gamble

Bug Fixes:

  • Fixed Ninja triggering off one another to cause a softlock.
  • Fixed a visual bug caused by cards without effects gaining Power.
  • Fixed some card animations not playing correctly.
  • Fixed certain effects from triggering when the card was dead.
  • Fixed Assassin not being able to benefit from Power.
  • Fixed Power and Invoke text display bug when they get to double digits.
  • Fixed Pirate having the wrong trigger.
  • Fixed a bug that caused a card hovered over the board to benefit from effects as if they were played.
  • Fixed Restart Game button not working.
  • Fixed Bell sticker sometimes getting put on cards that cannot benefit from Invoke.

If you had a cool run with an interesting synergy, feel free to share screenshots of your final build.

Thanks and have fun!
