Gosh, has it really been that long?
Anyway, KTR was always rather...visually sparse. Deliberately, of course, but also because I used it to start learning LaTeX, and I hadn't learned very much at that point. With the Inkscape + Krita + LaTeX workflow I have now, it takes very little effort to spruce it up a bit. Voilà!
