#Medium Update
Yo! It’s been a busy few days behind the scenes. While I’ve been navigating some... interesting social dynamics in various servers lately, I’ve also been pouring a lot of hours into refining the VeloStrap experience.
Version 0.1.7 is all about giving you control. I wanted to move away from a "one size fits all" feel and actually let you customize how the tool looks and behaves. Here is the breakdown of what’s new in this build:
We finally have a dedicated Settings Tab. I know everyone has different preferences for their workspace, so you can now toggle between three distinct themes:
System/Device: Matches your OS settings automatically.
Dark Mode: For the late-night sessions (save your eyes).
Light Mode: For those who actually like seeing their screen in the daytime.
Also, if you ever mess up your configuration while experimenting, I've added a "Reset All To Default" button in the General tab. One click and you’re back to a clean slate.
I’ve decided to rebrand the "Integrations" section to Mods. It feels more fitting for what we’re actually doing here.
- Cursor Presets: I’ve baked in three options: Angular, Cartoony, and Default.
- Customization: I added a dedicated Mods folder, making it way easier for you to drop in and swap out your own custom mouse cursors manually.
- ⚠ Known Bug: Just a heads-up, the in-app cursor presets are currently bugged and may not apply correctly. I’m looking into the logic error now, but for now, use the Mods folder for manual swaps!
For those who miss the classic era, I’ve added a few "Old School" toggles:
- Old Character Sounds: Emulate the original audio for that hit of nostalgia.
- Old Avatar Editor: Added a toggle to use the legacy editor interface.
