Hello everyone! 0.2.1 (Update Notes Here) focused on fixing and refining a few new systems while also giving the player a brand-new intro-cinematic in order to give a backstory to how your station got to where it's at. 0.2.2 is a massive update and it brings a lot to the table. Starship Gates allow starships and fleets to easily traverse across star systems! They are extremely useful when establishing well optimized logistics networks as well as for providing a quick way to transfer starships and fleets between systems without hassle.
Starship Gates are unlocked with the new Starships Logistics Research.
In this update comes 2 new modules. 1 for the station and one for starships, the docking port and docking clamp! This allows players to not only dock crafts together, but they can also now establish new starship logistics routes!
Routes are useful for moving large quantities of resources to and from stations. Route creation is also entirely dynamic allowing playing to establish in-depth multi-stop routes. I am very excited to see what players make with these new systems!
All of the new logistics mechanics are controlled from the new logistics view.
Completely replacing the old logistics panel is the new logistics view! It is the one stop shop for players to control their entire logistics networks from a single place!
Now players will have complete command and control of starships routes, teleporters, and an entire plethora of information for their networks! I am looking for player feedback in order to make this new view even better so please do not be afraid to let me know your thoughts!
There are a lot of big changes in this update so please do not hesitate to let me know if something is not working right or if there is a feature or part of the game that you would like me to focus on directly. I really love player feedback, and it really helps me gauge if I am heading in the right direction with the implementation of new features and other aspects of the game!
