NEW
Vault Dungeon. Escort a loot cart through vault rooms. Progress deeper for more gold, gems, and shards, or cash out early. 7 new vault-specific enemies
New Entry Flow. Retired the old start menu. First-time players enter through a cinematic threshold into the Fracture
Void Class Selection. Pick your class directly from the Void screen. No more clicking through multiple menus
Skill Rerolls. Reroll skill choices using vouchers or escalating gems (requires Extra Reroll upgrade)
6 Skill Slots. Max skills increased from 4 to 6, with unlock levels at 10, 20, 35, 60, 90, 120
Compendium Kill Tiers. Enemy entries reveal more information the more you slay
Regalia Inventory Expansion. New way to increase your regalia storage
Free Starting Unit. Can now reach level 4, allowing a 4-star unit
BALANCE
- Skill selection reduced from 3 choices to 2
- Bombard now has 80px minimum range; switches to weak melee when enemies are too close and no other attack option is available
- Heavy Ordnance nerfed: +10% to +5% per level
- Concussive Blast slow reduced: 30% to 25%
- Siege Engineer capstone (Orbital Bombardment) nerfed: 500% to 300% damage
- Archer knockback increased by 10%
- Plague King elite buffed: spawns 3 rats/sec instead of 2 rats every 6 seconds
- Boss spawn now triggers when the final flag is contested rather than captured
FIXES
- Fixed income store description not matching actual behavior
- Fixed elite chests not dropping correct gold amounts
- Fixed cinematic randomly restarting at different timestamps
- Fixed Heavy Ordnance AoE not actually upgrading
- Fixed rogue flags persisting in previous zones (could soft-lock runs)
- Fixed tutorial step 6 causing a soft-lock
- Fixed poison and burn not working correctly
QUALITY OF LIFE
- Improved loading screen with actual progress indicators
- Unified tooltip styling across all UI elements (removed ?'s)
- Added tooltips to most non-obvious interactions
- Shrine buffs now shown in zone tooltip
- Added anchor indicator when hero is planted
- Removed scroll bars from Compendium
- Removed text descriptors over shrines
- Removed backdrop behind artifact, skill, and relic choice screens
- Added 0.15s click-to-attack delay to prevent accidental drag inputs
LORE
- Full lore pass on tutorial dialogue. Advisor and Void Entity now have distinct personalities
- Advisor rewritten as warm, grounded guide with no knowledge of the death cycle
- Void Entity keeps snark and cycle awareness, with new lines seeding the split identity
- Added boss dialogues for Infernal General and The Maw
- Polished all boss and elite kill dialogues for tone and grammar
- Added per-dungeon tutorials (Gauntlet, Regalia, Vault)
- Added class-specific Void Entity quips (mage, ranger)
- New lore-aware event prompts for skills, relics, artifacts, and regalia
MISC
- Skins temporarily disabled (incompatible with current renderer, fix incoming)
- No vault music tracks yet, coming soon
