Hey all. Got some great features coming in the next update. I don't have a release date currently as there is still alot of work to do. I thought i would make this post so you all have a glimpse at what's going on and my thoughts for the next and future updates.
I have already added drop shadows to some of the objects (The ones that makes sense to have shadows) This can be toggled. There is another experimental feature i have added "Rectangle Draw" this allows you to draw tiles and it will draw walls around it all. This can be drawn with the grid or without snap to grid. Finally i have fixed exporting sometimes cutting off the edge of the maps and some other small bugs.
I will be adding Circle Draw and Free Draw which will all work a similar way to the Rectangle draw. I'm also in the process of sorting out alot of the code (None of you should notice this) It will make future updates alot easier. And of course plenty more objects will be added
I'm looking into texture blending and autotiling this may not be out with the next update but i would love to see them added at some point and i think as features they would add alot to Dungeon Maker Sketch. And the last thing is coloured tiles. Colouring maps after export looks great but i think it would be nice to have that in software. Colouring everything would be a big task and could take alot of time to get it to look right so please be patient with this one.
I hope you are excited about version 0.50!
