1.2.3 Patch Released!

Hello everyone!

Today we’re bringing you version 1.2.3 of Problematic Subjects, with a few improvements and fixes that I’ll go over now.

The first one was pretty obvious: we’ve updated the Cheats so they now unlock all poses (including the secret ones). We’ve also added a new cheat to get the maximum number of medals.

The second change is related to balancing the secret poses. Many of you pointed out that secret poses felt confusing or too RNG-based, and you’re absolutely right. Secret poses shouldn’t be easy to obtain, but basing their difficulty on RNG is simply bad design. So we’ve addressed this in the following way:

• Quest emails from Jenkins and Ludwig will ALWAYS appear on the second day, and you’ll ALWAYS receive another email the following day (unless you break the chain by ignoring emails or running out of stamina too early).
• It’s no longer necessary to do Jack’s titjob specifically on the second day: any day will now trigger his quest.

The bad news: we haven’t found a quick fix for Kleon’s secret pose, so for now it will remain as it is. However, we’ll add improvements in the future to make it less frustrating. We promise!

Another improvement for WebGL users: until now, every time we updated the WebGL version, we had to wipe your save files due to technical reasons. Well, that’s over. Your save data will now persist across updates.

• Now Jack's quest can be triggered by playing Titjob whenever he shows up, not only on Day 2.

• Performance improvement: when leaving a stage, its stages assets are unloaded from memory.

• Savefiles are now preserved between WebGL versions (but they still can be exported and imported if needed).
