Version 2.0.0

Here is the version 2.0 of FruitQA. Since finishing the game jam, I knew I wanted to make a more polished version of the game so that it feels a little more complete. The update consists mostly of fixing things that I felt weren't optimal and also adding a little more visual details. Be advised that the gameplay itself is pretty much the same.

In short, I just spent a little more time on each part of the game, graphics were improved, music and sound were improved, and the progression was adjusted to be smoother.

Change list:

• Added a background image.
• Improved the conveyor's appearance.
• Fruits now have two shades.
• The pitch of the fruit discard sound is randomized every time it is played.
• The background music has been reworked.
• Difficulty progression has been improved.
• Fruits are now discarded up toward the middle of the game window rather than toward the top left.
• The monologue has been removed.
• The game states (normal and déjà vu) now transition into each other rather than switching immediately.
• The game can now be successfully completed if the player manages to play for 10 minutes without making any mistake.

I decided to keep the original version available for download to maintain the essence of what was actually done for the game jam. For anyone interested in seeing what the game looked like in its initial version, download the file called FruitQA-V1 for either Windows or Linux. The current and improved version is called FruitQA-V2. Please note that I consider the game finished, so no further update will be provided, unless a major bug is found.
