Identity: Version 0.3.16b

Hello, everyone!

This is the last patron version and it already has a few hotfixes bundled together, hence the version having the letter b at the end.

We are still working on the rewrite of the engine, but we did backport one feature we had been missing since the start; It is a Master Volume Slider. It now exists, so you can change the audio settings with more ease.

This release is mostly focused on writing and introduces the first fleshed out "lonesome event". There are going to be several that will be randomly selected whenever you choose to hang out on your own during the dating choices.

Currently, there are only two, so you should be able to get the new one, reliably. This event is going to be moved to a dedicated day in the future, but this is a bit of a proof of concept to show what kind of content you'll be able to see in these lonesome segments.

This event can only be accessed before Day 9, not during or after. The event in question is themed after masks and you can meet two strangers there: The Dragon Noble from Day 9, and a Duskin bartender. There is also a sex scene with the bartender, which doesn't have art at the moment. You can check the changelog below for instructions how to get to the content of either of them.

We also have added some placeholder sprites for the Dragon Noble which also are shown during Day 9.

  • Fixed a softlock occurring during the Demon's dream at the end of day 9:
    • Telling him you want a life full of debauchery caused the game to softlock due to it checking a variable with a typo in Corvolin's file.
  • Fixed some faulty logic on Day 10:
    • The game had always assumed you are in a relationship, even if you actually aren't.

  • A new lonesome event that is accessible randomly via the option to spend time alone during the dating slot. It has two variants that branch out from the selection of drinks.
    • Cold, minty drink: Dragon Noble (The same one from Day 9)
    • Bartender's choice: The bartender himself. This also has sex scenes.
• Art:
  • Dragon Noble Sprites. They are placeholders for now.
  • The Dragon Noble now actually is visible on Day 9.
• Programming:
  • Backport of Version 0.4.0:
    • A Master Volume slider has been added.
    • Your chosen volume is also saved in the config file.
    • Known Issue: The audio doesn't get adjusted properly for about a second when the game starts.
• Bug Fix:
  • Fixed a softlock in Lucra Date 2.
