NETWAR is Live! — First Devlog

Hey everyone! 👋

I'm excited to announce that NETWAR is now available to play for free in your browser — no downloads, no sign-up required.

What is NETWAR? NETWAR is a real-time multiplayer territory strategy game. You capture cities, send armies, build factories, launch rockets, and outmaneuver your rivals diplomatically. Every match is different.

What's in the game right now:

• Real-time multiplayer — play with anyone, anywhere
• Private rooms — create a room and share a code with friends
• Fog of War mode — limited vision, information is a weapon
• Rockets — 500 gold, any city, 50/50 chance of total destruction
• SAM sites — 65% chance to intercept incoming rockets
• Alliance & ceasefire system — with betrayal mechanics
• Factories & trade — passive income through city connections
• Gold and iron mines — scattered across the map
• 3 map sizes — Small, Medium, Large
• Solo mode — play against AI anytime

Why I built this: I developed NETWAR entirely on my own. It started as a small project and grew into something I'm genuinely proud of. There's still a lot to improve and I know that — but I wanted to get it in front of real players as soon as possible.
