Renapet April 24th progress report

Hey everyone,

Sorry it's been a bit since the last progress update, but I wanted to give you another look into the content for the next update. It's going to contain quite a few things, but I hope the wait will be worth it. 

So this upcoming update will contain:

- Anal Scene fully implemented

- Rena Catch mini game

- Status Menu implementation

- Training menu implementation

- General basic stat implementation

The main thing for this update will be to get a basic version of the game's main loop. There will still be a few things missing, like feeding,  fighting, buying items, and other things, but it will give a decent idea of how the game will play. But basically the primary loop will be Rena waking up -> feeding to raise her happiness and fullness -> Using energy points to do training mini-games to raise stats or fighting to get money or having sex with her to raise her happiness -> Using money to buy food and items -> Then rest to start a new day and recover energy points.

So the first scene to be implemented will be the anal scene. I wanted to get the vaginal scene first originally, but I'm going to have to redo the one I had made in the first demo I made. o for now, I want to get the anal scene done, to show what content these scenes will have. Currently, I have the idle, slow, and medium speed done. Now I need to do the fast, and very fast speeds, and then the cum in and cum out animations. I also need to animate some of the background elements as well, just to give it a bit more life. These bigger animations tend to take a bit more time, but I think they will be worth it!

I've also been working on the UI for RenaCatch, which will be the first mini-game available. UI ins't my specialty, so I've been trying a few things here and there and this is what I've settled on so far. I'm still not super happy with it, but I think it will work for now. I will probably add more detail to it, just so things stand out from the background more later. But to explain things a bit, the "Good!" "Perfect!!", and "Miss..."'  are what you'll see depending on how well you catch the ball that's thrown at Rena. You'll have to line the ball up with the blue circle and depending on how well you do, you see one of the results above. The balls in the top right corner indicate both how many balls are left in the round, and the status of the ones you caught ( which are the 3 balls under the other ones with G, P, an d M on them). So as you catch balls, you'll see how you did on each one.  There will be 3 difficulties, each changing the amount of balls Rena needs to catch, how difficult it is to catch the balls, and the benefits of the training. So the better you do in the training, the better benefits Rena will receive. These stat increases will effect Rena in the "Fight" portions of the game.  They will only last for a certain amount of time in the game, so it will be important to train regularly, choose which stat you want to train, and decide which difficulty of training you will do. With the risk / reward being that if you do a harder training, you will get a bigger boost, but if you fail it, you won't get any boost and waste the energy you used.

I've been fleshing out the feeding system a bit too, though it probably won't make it into the upcoming demo. Basically it'll just be a menu that you can select specific foodstuffs for Rena to eat. Each giving a change to her happiness, fullness, and weight. I feel like it's too bare bones at the moment, so I'll probably try to add some more personality to it, but here it is so far.

Anyway that's about it so far. I haven't been able to work as much as I wanted to this week, but I should be able to get a good amount of work done this weekend. Regardless, I will make sure to keep you all updated on here, my twitter, and my Patreon posts (they will be public so you don't have to be a patron to see them).

Oh! I almost forgot. I animated the Rena in the sex canvas menu as well, just to make things more lively. I'll leave that below as well since I don't think I've posted it here yet.
