POST JAM UPDATE

MAJOR UPDATE

Since the jam ended  we have spent an extra weekend and some evenings getting the game to where we wanted it to be.  There were a few areas of the game we planned but never had time to realise (particularly the whole house section and the ending).

Expect a different experience that last time you played!

WHATS NEW

• The woods
  • Finding the house now takes a little longer.  If you found it straight away last time you played you now cannot do that.  Finding the house requires you to explore the woods and use your ears.
  • There is more to experience in the woods in general.
• The house
  • This section of the game has been totally re worked (or worked, considering it was empty :) )
• The ending
  • There is one.
• Many other tweaks and improvements to audio and graphics.

BLAIR WITCH

The jam version of the game has proven to be very popular, and while it was not our intention to lift quite as much from the film, we appreciate everyone who took the time to play it or make videos of it.  If you would like to play the original version from the YouTubes, you can download that as well.

Just want to add a huge thanks to everyone who has taken the time to play, watch, make videos of or even check a wee look at this little thing.  It has taken off more than we thought it would and encouraged us to polish this up a bit more.

Please bear in mind we have still only spent 2 weekends and a couple of evenings working on this, so it should still be considered a rough prototype of something we can expand upon in the future.

In the mean time please enjoy the new spooks in the update.
