Chapter 1 released!

Hello!

Hope everyone's doing well. I have uploaded the first build last night.

Here's some notes:

• One character had to be temporarily cut due to time constraints, but he will be re-added in the future.
• There is currently only one version of the ending for this chapter.
• The only variation is cosmetic, which is Matthew's glasses.
• More cosmetic options will be available in the future, which will include Elizabeth.

Definitely learned a lot from this experience. It felt rather intimidating since I've never coded before. I want to spend time improving and fixing up any clumsy moments in the plot that have occurred as a result of cutting out Fredrick's role.

Additional features, such as CGs, voice acting, and branching paths will be added once I'm more satisfied with the plot.

Further refinement to the character sprites are in development, such as additional eye directions to remedy some characters looking off into space or directly at the player when they should be looking at the other characters.

Anyway, I hope you enjoy what I have made so far! I admit that I'm extremely shy, but I will try not to be too hard on myself and will focus on improving any parts that I'm not satisfied with. I would expand on that, but I do not want to spoil.
