This is the biggest update to Flimsy Living yet. All of the following things have been adjusted since the last update:
-Completely revamped rendering system. Blocks you destroy immediately render the blocks adjacent, so the renderer does not need to run as often. Only blocks bordering air are rendered. This gives a huge performance boost to the game.
-New experience system. Levels now determine the enemies that spawn. I plan to add a level requirement for various upgrades.
-Removed vertical render distance. Now blocks render straight to the ground.
-Added a music volume setting.
-Increased world sizes.
-Changed contract and upgrade block placement. They are now located in dungeons and in the starter house.
-Added a starter house and 2 dungeons.
-Changed the world border to make it look better.
-Added a skybox.
-Added air pockets and large ore veins.
-Adjusted the firing rate for the gun.
-Added a travel block to reload the terrain in the world.
This is a tremendous update and I am glad to be so productive this last week!
