YearningVR is a vr dating sim that uses head gesture recognition and simulates making direct eye contact. Players will have to answer their date’s questions by nodding yes or no; and maintain as much eye contact as possible to build affection. However, maintaining too much eye contact will make the player anxious, which will make the date more difficult(questions and environment become filled with static). Players can drink alcohol to mitigate their anxiety, but drinking too much will also make the date difficult(questions become indecipherable). To win, players must max out their affection with their date. The player loses if their affection reaches 0, or their date has no more questions to ask.
