This update focuses on narrative readability, Cabaret flow fixes, and broad ordering clean-up across late-game spaces, while continuing to stabilise touch and web-specific behaviour.

Cabaret Flow
Bar interaction in the Cabaret has been restored
Player can now correctly drink during the Cabaret sequence
Ordering / Layering
Bench behind loan NPC now renders correctly
Light post and adjacent building in alley reordered
Hotel lobby desk ordering corrected
Path house door ordering corrected
Cabaret main room NPC ordering fixed
Back room door ordering corrected
Backroom dancer and cabaret lounge ordering cleaned up
Narrative Triggers
“It’s the next day, better get to work” line now triggers correctly as part of morning flow
TWEAKED
Narrative Presentation
Internal thoughts are now rendered in italics to clearly distinguish them from spoken dialogue
Encounters
Emcee now increases intoxication more rapidly to reinforce loss of control during the Cabaret sequence
World Staging
Work Manager NPC has been moved out the front of the store to improve encounter clarity and world logic

Input & Platform
Joystick touch input still behaves inconsistently on some devices
Muffled music effect does not function correctly in the Web build
Ordering / Visual Polish
Wine tables in Boss 2 room still exhibit inconsistent layering
(under investigation)
Cabaret bar currently only allows a single drink per visit
Sprite Edge Artifacts
Fountain sprite shows a visible black line
