Demo Update!

Hey World Eaters!

First off, thank you so much for checking out the demo, sharing feedback, and sending us your thoughts. It’s really motivating to see people playing something, that you have so much passion in making.

Today we’re excited to roll out our first demo update! This patch is a mix of things we already had in the pipeline before launch (features and content that were nearly ready to go), alongside fixes, polish, and improvements inspired directly by your feedback!

Here’s a quick look at what’s included:

• Steam Deck + controller support
• New gameplay content (cards, mutators, evolutions)
• Smoother card execution and animations
• UI improvements
• We added Music!🎵

Game

• Controller Support
  • Fully playable on Steam Deck!
• New Cards
• New Mutators
• New Evolutions
• New character animations
• Improved timing and flow of card executions
• Changed default Framerate Limit to 60
• Fixed “Unlimited FPS” actually clamping

User Interface

• Improved card direction selection UI/UX
• Added “New Run” button to the Pause Menu
• Added new setting: Game Speed
• Updated the Evolution Menu
• Updated the Shop Menu
• Added tooltip when hovering tiles
• Fixed “How To” window not showing in the shop when prompted.

Audio

• Added Music
  • Different tune during in-game menus
• Updated SFX
