Array 0.1.6 - 0.1.6b had some great changes when it came to the power system and come good refinements to the new drone updates that came in 0.1.5! For 0.1.7 I wanted to focus on overhauling the population system as population will become important for the 0.2.0 update. I was also able to implement some amazing suggestions that came from Hashashiyyin
Habitants of your stations and colonies now have names and ages! These are randomly generated for every new person move into your structure. The age is used to determine a new bonus that comes by assigning habitants to specific modules in order to get bonus yields.
Peak Performance/Bonus: Ages 18-25
Workers in this age range provide the highest bonuses
Age 21-22 is the sweet spot, giving up to +5% productivity

Players now have a population configurator following along on the theme of giving each of the individual systems for a station or colony more control and player configurable options. This of course is important for future automation options I will be implementing into the game. This menu gives players full control over the inhabitants of their stations or colonies!
The population configurator allows users to assign their habitants to specific modules as explained above in the Habitants section in order to yield bonuses to those modules. When assigning habitants to the core it boosts the build speed for the station or colony, when assigning them to the resource drone it boosts the yield, when applied to power modules it will increase the power they produce, and when applied to storage they increase the overall storage provided by that specific module.
In order to support testing of the new population features I also introduced a few new debug commands for population systems.
Feel free to use these to test the playtest and find bugs! I am always open to player feedback and support especially for 0.1.8 which besides plans for general maintenances and bug fixes will mostly be filled with player suggestions!
This came in 0.1.6b however I wanted to give it a highlight in this update as it is a very important system when combined with the changes from 0.1.5.
Now players can configure each of their storage containers and set them to only house a specific resource. Of course, the option to use them as shared storage still exists and is the default.
