I have uploaded version 2.26 of the Shield Block plugin with the following change:
This change was requested by user Noctellion. Note that if an actor has a weapon that gives them block chance, but does not have the state that enables blocking, the actor effectively has no block chance, and the menu will report it as such (if you're using that plugin).
An additional thing to keep in mind is that if an actor has no shield equipped but has the state that enables blocking, the project will crash if a block occurs, because it will not be able to read expected data from a shield in the offhand that doesn't exist. The easiest way to prevent this from happening, as usual, is to make the only way to get the block state to have a shield actually equipped. As mentioned in the plugin help text, YEP_AutoPassiveStates is great for this.
