Laser Beams Like So Many Stars got a professional editing treatment and is on Kickstarter now (along with two other zines) to get illustrated. Helen Gould edited and Orunmilla Williams is illustrating. I'm in love with this new cover:
Mechanically, the biggest change was switching from d10-based charts to standard playing cards. Event generation was already based on card draws, so I just made it uniform across. Cards are a bit more portable and accessible than ten-sided dice and it allowed me to lengthen the name and emotion lists.
