I just thought I'd throw a quick message up to talk about where this project came from. I am a novice for sure, but my kids and I wanted to play a TTRPG so we picked up D&D 5e books over holidays. None of us are really close with anyone that plays TTRPGs, so we tried to just figure things out ourselves through a combination of the books, YouTube and AI, but we keep getting hung up on some of the most basic rules making gameplay hard.
I searched for some alternatives and Shadowdark came up multiple times as recommendations, but after awhile, I felt like I know enough about the world in general (and how to use AI) that I decided to develop my own set of rules that we can use to just jump into things quickly. INTERFACE is built to work for us; it's not necessarily made to emulate a particular system over another.
Make no mistake, it is absolutely AI generated but through various methods to hammer out [hopefully] the quickest way to jump into anything that seems interesting to us. Please enjoy and feel free to give me any feedback. Thank you for reading!
