#update #reach pink cube #tenshiaa #unity #devlog
I haven't made the release of Reach Pink Cube public yet, I've only really shown it to some of my friends in school. But, with this devlog and a post that's soon going to be uploaded to my youtube, I want strangers to try out my first Unity project. Making it wasn't easy, since I had no prior experience coding there were a lot of bugs that came up. In the end, I was mostly watching 4+ hours of tutorials in order to make a simple game. The final result runs smoothly, but is very loose in control and tacky when it comes to dying, completing levels, and most of all: the new multiplayer feature. For the most part, the second player is kind of just there for the ride. If one person dies, a complete restart takes place rather than just restarting that player. For future updates I want to make tighter controls, more levels, better transitions, and a better multiplayer experience. For now though, it's really as good as I can do for a first update to a first game project.
