## Version 1.1.1 (December 30, 2024)

### New Features

- **Game Start Countdown** - 3-2-1-GO countdown when leaving lobby. Players can't shoot and spirits don't spawn until countdown ends

- **Wave Break Countdown** - 15 second countdown between waves. Shows "WAVE X COMPLETE" then counts down before next wave starts

- **Floating Mechanics** - Hold SHIFT to float, SPACE to rise, CTRL to descend. Float energy drains while airborne and regenerates when grounded

- **Energy Light System** - Press F to toggle energy light. Drains from same energy pool as floating (5/sec vs 15/sec for float)

- **Spirit Sense** - Spirits glow purple and are visible through walls when nearby (passive ability)

- **Screen Edge Indicators** - Arrows appear at screen edges pointing toward off-screen spirits within 9 meters

- **Quick Chat Radial Wheel** - Hold right-click in multiplayer to open quick chat wheel with 8 preset messages

- **Chat Panel** - Bottom-left chat panel shows messages when connected to multiplayer

- **Charge Shooting** - Tap for quick shot (15 damage, 2 energy), hold up to 1 second for charged shot (50 damage, 10 energy)

- **Muzzle Flash** - Particle burst when shooting, scales with charge level

- **Energy Beam Visual** - Glowing beam from player to hit point, thickness and brightness scale with charge

### Improvements

- **Shoot cooldown** - 0.15 second delay between shots

- **Spirit spawn distance** - Spirits now spawn at least 10 meters away from players

- **Spirit Movement** - Spirits now pass through walls and each other (they're ghosts!)

- **Spirit Speed Variety** - Each spirit spawns with randomized speed (Shade: 3-5, Wraith: 5-7, Phantom: 1.5-2.5)

- **Spirit Separation** - Spirits gently push away from each other to prevent clumping

- **Phantom teleport distance** - Phantoms now teleport 4-6 meters from player (outside attack range)

- **Phantom Fade Effect** - Phantoms now fade out and fade back in when teleporting (0.6 sec each)

- **Phantom teleport position** - Phantoms only teleport within player's front 120 degree view

- **3D Spirit Movement** - All spirits chase player in full 3D, following them when they float

- **Wraith zigzag improved** - Smoother weaving motion with randomized duration and distance

- **Player Sync During Countdown** - Players now sync positions between waves

- **Multiplayer Visual Sync** - Other players' charge glow, muzzle flash, beam, and shoot sounds now visible/audible

- **Movement During Countdown** - Players can move during countdown, only shooting is blocked

### Bug Fixes

- Fixed enemies spawning directly on top of players

- Fixed phantoms teleporting inside player's attack range

- Fixed players not syncing during wave break countdown

- Fixed RPC-to-self errors in lobby

- Fixed host disconnect not properly kicking clients

- Fixed network cleanup when switching between single player and multiplayer quickly
