Originally, I was going to wait to do another release until Alpha V2 was ready (which would encompass basically the entire game engine, with Beta V1 being the first area of the final game). However, after realizing there was a game-breaking bug in Alpha V1 that would entirely prevent the player from attacking in some installations, I decided to make an intermediate release to fix that and also show off a few new features I'd been working on. In practice, that's mostly the status condition system and numerical indicators of damage inflicted, but on the backend there are also improvements to level loading and some memory errors that have been smoothed out.
