Hello everyone, Rriik here! This time, bringing you something rather new for Itch, but ongoing on our Patreon for quite some time: a demo of the Godot framework I've been working on! It has been almost 10 months since i posted the last demo in the new engine, and I have been busy implementing tons of new features, bringing it to a point where it can run Identity just as well as Ren'Py would.
This is an ongoing effort on my end to port Identity to Godot Engine, a much more powerful, versatile and easy to use engine than Ren'Py. Despite that, I tried my best to make the experience of using the new engine to be as seamless as possible for those of you that like using Ren'Py.
This new version has a load of new additions, all of which can be read in more detail in this update post on Patreon. I recommend you give that a read for context before downloading the demo (download links have been updated on the main page). Your feedback is very appreciated and will allow me to keep making the game and framework behind it even sturdier, so if you wanna talk about it, leave a comment on our main itch page!
