v0.0.5 Released
Sorry this took so long fellas, but now there's finally more than 5 seconds of gameplay. Here's the patch notes for v0.0.5
[Overhaul]
- Overhauled the main menu, now featuring a more modern design
- Overhauled the loading screen, now featuring a more modern design
- Overhauled the pause menu, now featuring a more modern design (Now with working in-game settings!)
- Overhauled the settings menu, now just better
- Overhauled the player code. Now more modular and hopefully better.
- Overhauled SCP-173 (again). Should now be more creepy and less annoying (I hope)
- Overhauled various sound effects
[FMOD]
- Integrated FMOD into SCP:CB Revival allowing for more robust control over the game's audio
- This does necessitate a complete redo of all of the game's audio so some features initially present or planned for v0.0.5 may be absent from the final build
[Added]
- Added more sounds for SCP-173 in conjunction with his overhaul
- Added some new items and documents
- Added a template based map generation system
- Added many, many new rooms (As a byproduct of map generation)
- Added new sound effects not present in the base game to improve immersion
- Added a new guard model. Current rig and animations are Mixamo placeholders
- Added more soundtracks you can choose from in OPTIONS > AUDIO (Revival, rBreach)
[Removed]
- Removed the 420-J Addicted scientist
- Removed the W.I.P. Intro Sequence to reduce the time it takes to release v0.0.5. Will however be present in v0.0.6 probably
- Removed some sounds from SCP-173, mostly just being the old ambient tracks that played when you got close to him
[Misc]
- The keycards have had their models and textures replaced with higher quality ones
- The documents have had their models and textures replaced with higher quality ones
- Multiple textures around the facility have recieved higher quality replacements
