Recently i've been experimenting with different game modes for Ganymede Gate. Interestingly, the 3 parameters i'm able to change globally create two completely different games: one is an action RPG, the other is a VERY hard roguelike.
This all comes "for free" because the game uses continuous turns and non-grid movement, a hallmark of the most traditional roguelikes that was decided early on wasn't going to be followed with GG.
