MacroUpdate! (Part 1)

A downloadable game for Windows and Android

Hi!! it's been a while.

As you know there hasn't been any major updates since the game released, i kinda didn't know what to add, to be honest. Well thas time is OVER, it's DONE, and i'm adding a lot of cool stuff to microJAM.

The update was split into two core pieces of the game, but today, we're looking at changes to Endless Mode, as well as some new content!

1. Endless Mode has new game modes!

  • Sudden Death: You get 1HP. One hit, your streak is over!
  • Turbo mode: The game is ALWAYS at max level (lvl. 3)
  • Nanogames: Small, interactable distractions that appear on your screen to mess with you

The way it used to work you could manually set your number of lives and starting level, but those were options and not actual game modes!

These can be enabled or disabled independently, so you can make your own combination of game modes and play however you want!

2. Nanogames are now a thing!

Nanogames are interactable objects that appear inside microgames, only in endless and if the option is active

15 Nanogames were added, some with little quirks like a popup that duplicates itself if you open it, or a light swich that darkens your screen until you turn it on!

3. New collectibles!

Besides your usual 50 stickers to collect, there's now 2 more types of collectibles

  • 15 Pins: A collectible type dropped from nanogames
  • 10 Charms: A collectible type found from secrets

Good luck getting all of these!

4. Achievements and stats!

  • Achievements can now be viewed on the collectibles screen
  • Added 8 New achievements based around the new content
  • Redrawn the 12 other achievements that were previously ingame

You can also see your stats ingame now! (games won, games lost, etc.)

note: achievements are taken from your save file and not linked directly to steam

note: stats don't count wins, deaths and other things that weren't being counted before this update.

5. Fixes/Changes

  • Stickers are now accessed trough the collectibles menu, instead of the main menu
  • Fixed PINGPONG balls to be bigger
  • The moves in FLEX are now mapped to delta time instead of the game's FPS
