Hi there, this will be real quick.
I made some changes to ease the process of getting the Demo version of the DATA.WAR file. Now you don't need to go and download the Demo DATA.WAR file yourself, you can start the game and it will download the Demo version for you.
Note that you if you want the full experience, you need to get an original copy of the game, the Demo DATA.WAR file have several missing assets but it will allow you to start and play the first few levels of the game.

You can get that link from here: https://archive.org/details/WarcraftOrcsHumansDemo. If you click SEE ALL in the DOWNLOADS section you will see a WCRFT.ZIP (View Contents) entry, just click on View Contents and there is a line with the DATA.WAR file of the demo version.
