We figured it’s better to share this now rather than during the holidays. This may be the last dev update of the year, with the next one coming in January. That update will include a few sneak peeks and a short gameplay video showcasing one of the new maps.
We’ve also joined the “New Year’s Naughty Bundle” on itch.io, which features 100+ games from multiple developers—definitely worth checking out!

Quest Tracking now works from anywhere, including the entire castle.
Quest pointers automatically appear when you pick up a quest.
Most menus can now be closed using ESC.
Controller support has been added, including a custom cursor for controller users (optimized and tested with an Xbox controller layout).
Code optimization across the board, resulting in improved overall performance.
Fixed several tile walkability issues.
Chapter 3 dialogue has been updated.
Farah’s story has been slightly reworked to address a plot hole.
Ruinessa’s dialogue and questline have been revised; her new questline is written and partially implemented.
Adjusted Ishak’s overly medieval dialogue.
Added new images for specific dialogue moments.
Siri now has a dedicated “Casting Portal” picture.
The Swamp Lands map has been added.
New music track added for Darkweave Camp.
New undead enemy sprites.

After another round of testing, all starting zones have been nerfed (again…).
