Devlog #2 (December 2019 Update)

HAHA omg i forgot to publish this before i went on my New Year festivities spree... ANYWAY, Happy New Year!

I assumed correctly last devlog when I said I wouldn't be able to get a lot done ahaha... But in an effort to be more active, social, and accountable, I'll write this anyway for Sidney's route!


OUTLINE 100% COMPLETE

WRITING

*thousand yard stares* I have a lot of trouble finding the right words lmao. I often find myself cutting a lot of dialogue and descriptive paragraphs... Marina's vocabulary is supposedly pretty simple, but still... I usually write the dialogue first, then I break blocks of dialogue with descriptive elements and stuff trying to imagine how it looks or how it's being delivered... These parts take a while... 


CODING/PROGRAMMING

Yeah, no surprise here... C'': Most of the coding will be for the sprites' expressions 


CG/ART WORK - 0% (0/6 complete)

Well, in order for me to calculate a percentage, I needed to decide how many CGs I wanted to draw. Last month I sketched some out. I'm learning a lot about composition and anatomy :'DD I... really like having a lot of CGs so I may or may not add more depending on how I feel... For now, I'm planning to have 6 for Sidney's route alone. Ugh, this is my excuse to draw him as often as I want because ... I just like drawing him...


WRAP UP

All in all, the holiday season is just about over and a new year is here! The obvious goal for this year is to finally release After-Party Chemistry. But I'd rather not rush it... I'll do my best to give you all a clean, polished, and beautiful game and experience! Looking forward to a great year with all of you! C:
