Patch Notes for v0.24 + Side Developments

Hello everyone! 

Hope you are all having a happy holiday season so far! We've finished update v0.24 for you, which includes two new events and three 18+ scenes! In this update we focused on continuing the overall story progression for the game. The content for ShoSakyu has been extended by over 33% with this update! We've also released the 'Betting vs Nono'  scene from 0.23 into the free build! Before I get into patch notes for 0.24 I'd like to share some things we've been working on alongside main development! 

Translations

Max has been working very hard on the translator tool and we've started contacting those interested in translating for the official game language translations(Spanish, German, Japanese, Chinese, Russian), so starting that is just around the corner! If you'd like to help translate the game into one of those languages, please contact us on discord! We would prefer that you are fluent/native in the language you wish to translate to.

Game Launcher

This may be a little less exciting, but we also now have a game launcher for ShoSakyu windows v (linux coming later), which should make patching much easier for supporters and has an option for prewarming assets on windows.

Patch Notes for 0.24

Bug Fixes

• Fixed an issue with auto-skipping not stopping on choices or when returning to the main menu
• Fixed settings for auto speed, skip speed, and "skip after choice" not applying correctly
• Fixed a bug where the broom in the hallway would disappear during dialogues
• Fixed an issue where the Dullahan dream sequence would sometimes play for non-supporter tier members
• Fixed an issue preventing players from changing the name of a new save file
• Changed the default save name to reflect the current day in game
• Fixed slider handles in settings jumping when starting a drag event
• Fixed a bug where Nono would remain on screen after the "Betting vs Nono" scene during the night time walk event
• Fixed an issue allowing the player to choose 'fuck' interaction with Dullahan while a toy was in use
• Removed "missed work" dialogues

Improvements & Changes

• Added Park background with day and night variants
• Added a new blackout effect
• Made Succubus Haze and blur effects global, with overall improvements
• Extended blur effect to properly apply to characters and backgrounds
• Removed object pooling from choice buttons for better reliability (minor performance impact, but fixes frequent animation breaks)
• Added haze button effect for scenarios where  succubi force a choice

• Added Nono solo missionary scene
• Added Nono and Alura duo scene (supporter only)
• Added Alura solo scene (supporter only)
• Added "What is Nono reading?" event
• Added "Nono sees something" event
• Moved "Betting vs Nono" event to free build
