Dev Log 07: Diplodocus, Character customization and more!

Hi Everyone!! We hope you're having a fantastic weekend.

Time for another major update from the team here! Thank you all so much for your support. Your comments, suggestions, feedback and just general awesomeness has been absolutely amazing.

Without further ado, let's go through all the new features and changes.

Character Customization

We've added  a new character customization tool. Express yourself. (More accessories, hairstyles and options coming soon!)

Let us know in our discord if you want us to add new customization options! We're taking requests!

Diplodocus

Can you find and assemble one of the most well-known and loved dinosaurs!?

Diplodocus was one of the longest animals to ever walk the Earth, stretching up to about 25 meters long, yet it likely weighed less than many shorter dinosaurs like Tyrannosaurus rex thanks to its extremely lightweight, air-filled bones. Living around 150 million years ago in the Late Jurassic, it used its whip-like tail not just for balance but possibly to crack like a sonic boom, creating loud sounds to communicate or scare predators. 

This is the biggest dinosaur we've added by a long way, he almost doesn't fit in the house!!

General Improvements

• Greatly improved visitor pathfinding.
• Improved performance when generating path finding grids.
• Added a pause menu with volume controls.
• Small UI improvements across the board.
• Added some minor christmas related doodads.
• Added a few new sound effects and visual effects.
• Improved placement of exhibits so you can place them slightly closer together.

Final note from the team

Thank you all so so much for well... everything! So far we've had over 100k plays on our prototype (here and on GX games) and we can't express how much this means to us.
