Cosmic Conquest is a fast-paced, endless arcade survival game set in space, where the only objective is simple: survive as long as possible.
There are no levels, no waves, and no breaks. You’re dropped into a single, expansive cosmic scene filled with asteroids and enemy ships, and the action never stops.
You pilot a starfighter through an infinite field of hazards, relying on quick reflexes and precision movement. The longer you survive, the higher your score climbs, pushing you to beat your previous runs.
The game is designed to be:
nonstop
score-focused
easy to pick up, hard to master
This project was an exercise in:
endless gameplay loops
score systems
player feedback through sound and visuals
maintaining tension without traditional level design
I wanted to see how engaging a game could be with one scene and one goal.
How important game feel is in arcade experiences
How small tweaks to speed and difficulty dramatically affect tension
The value of clear visual and audio feedback
Cosmic Conquest is intentionally simple, focused, and relentless — built to test how long you can last before space inevitably wins.
