Decker 1.63
DeckerA downloadable tool for Windows, macOS, and Linux
Decker 1.63 is a maintenance release focused on bugfixes and performance.
Fixes (Web):
- Fixed crashes when attempting to modify the script of a canvas widget.
Fixes (Native):
- Kiosk mode now works as intended for locked decks.
- The return value of alert["string"] is now always falsey, as intended.
- Corrected an internal oversight in the Lil interpreter's BIND opcode which could occasionally result in crashes.
- Corrected a performance bottleneck in LOVE/JSON parsing, which in turn was causing very large decks to take an unreasonably long time to load, especially in debug builds.
Fixes (Web and Native):
- Corrected internal inconsistencies which made a number of utility routines in the rtext interface produce incorrect results when rtext tables contained inline images. It is now possible to offer a third optional argument to rtext.string[] to prevent the suppression of the "text" content of inline images.
- Module KeyStores were not properly round-tripping raw lists.
New Features:
- The PublicTransit module now includes Rotate_ and Page_ transition effects for all cardinal directions, bringing the module to v1.3.
- Locked Rich-Text cells (column format "T") within grid widgets now permit clickable links, which send a link[] event to the grid as expected.
Elsewhere in the Deckerverse:
Ahmwma just released Phinxel's Phield Notes, a whimsical and information-packed guide to Decker. If you've struggled with the official reference manuals in the past, this guide is your missing manual!
Dec(k)-Month continues until the end of December; there's still plenty of time to participate...
