Hey there!
Thanks for checking out this devlog. This build was a big one. A lot of internal systems were expanded, and the world itself grew in some important ways. Rather than list everything (because the list is… enormous), here are the highlights.
The help menu has been updated and expanded, making it much easier to understand available commands and systems.
A new map command has been added, allowing you to visualize what parts of the network you’ve unlocked and how nodes connect.
The connect system has been upgraded to work across multiple nodes, meaning you no longer need to manually hop through every intermediate location.
Roughly 40 new nodes and locations have been added to the game, significantly expanding the network to explore.
These new areas introduce more complexity in layout, locks, and power requirements, pushing progression systems further.
Power generation is now a real system.
You can generate power and route it to previously unpowered nodes, unlocking new paths and opportunities.
This adds a new layer of decision-making around expansion and resource management.
This update lays a lot of groundwork for future features, especially around large-scale network control, progression pacing, and system interdependence. There’s much more under the hood, but these changes should already start to reshape how the game feels moment-to-moment.
I have also added another dev to the team to help with building new areas of the game, which should speed up development time greatly.
And finally, I am interested in getting a small group of play testers together to give me more immediate feedback on builds. If that sounds like something you're interested, you can join here to apply:
