I was really disappointed that I didn't get to make the game that I wanted to make. It really made me doubt that I would have anything done at all by the deadline. Even what I have uploaded I'm not satisfied with.
I wouldn't expect any different from someone working alone on this task. The implementation, mechanics and art design just took so much of my time that I couldn't sleep sometimes, fearing that I would never have at least a prototype done.
I worked on this while also working on 2 huge semester projects at once. It was bad timing that we had to work the weekend too, since that meant less time for me to work on this game.
At the very least I learned how to make proper 2D animations and how to script it so it doesn't look too bad. But there are still issues with the animations even now.
In the future I wish to work with other people and share my ideas. Who knows, maybe they can help me realize them?
