Indie Games Look Better Without AI

Lately I’ve noticed that a lot of developers struggle when it comes to making good-looking title screens, menu text, capsule art, or thumbnails. These are some of the most important visuals of a game, yet they’re often rushed or left to AI tools. While AI might feel like a quick solution, it can also give your project a bad impression and make it feel less personal.

This is exactly why I started working on this cartoony farm-style title asset pack. The idea was simple: give developers an easy way to make their games look fun, bold, and appealing without needing strong typography or graphic design skills. Titles, menus, trailers, social media posts, or even screenshots for your store page can instantly look better with the right text style.

All the alphabet images in this pack are made to be clear, colourful, and exaggerated, matching a playful farm or casual game tone. They’re built for 4K projects, so you can scale them down freely without losing quality. Since everything is provided as PNG files, you can use them in almost any image editor or game engine. Just drag the letters in, arrange them into words, and you’re done.

I created all of these assets in Photoshop, and because of that I’ve also included the original Photoshop file. This allows you to directly edit the text if you want to tweak things or experiment with different words more easily. Do keep in mind that this file most likely won’t work properly in GIMP, since it relies on smart objects, which GIMP doesn’t fully support.

This project is part of my early journey into making game assets alongside game development. I want to keep creating useful, practical assets that actually help developers finish and polish their projects. There will definitely be more packs like this in the future, and this is just the start.
