Hey guys. I know over the past couple of weeks I've been saying how much I wanted to swap engines and stuff, but honestly working on remaking an entire game from scratch has been tough. This game has been a fun project since I've started, and I feel like I've kind of grown a lot since I first released. It's been really hard to not compare my work to other projects and wish I had better mechanics or my art had to be better, stupid thoughts like that. It was a very unhealthy cycle which ultimately made me not want to update, it made me feel like the game had to have all of these cool things despite already having a lot of the ideas I was happy with. So yeah, I'm sorry I've been so inactive lately! I think I'm going to go back to rpg maker for the time being to finish the game for you all. Maybe after for my next game I'll use godot or unity!
I'll have the next update out in a week, I may update the story and add some more lore! But thank you for reading and staying with me, I hope you have a good one <3
