This is my first public release of 2048 Lab.
The goal of this project was to create a clean, minimal version of the classic 2048 game, focusing on smooth controls and a distraction-free interface. I wanted something simple to pick up, but still challenging.
The game currently includes:
- Classic mode, inspired by the original 2048
- Blitz mode, where you have a limited amount of time to score as much as possible
- Mouse swipe controls
- Local high scores
The entire project was built using Python and Pygame, and this release marks the point where the game is fully playable from start to finish.
This is a first version, and I’m mainly interested in feedback:
- Does the Blitz mode feel fun or stressful?
- Is the UI clear and readable?
- Anything that feels annoying or confusing?
