I continued the work from last week and "finished" the Inner Bailey area of Highwarden. Finished in quotation marks since I expect it will need further balancing and the main boss encounter will remain as an end of content point until the next part.
You can fight two more mini bosses - in theory - but in practice I don't expect the current amount of content to be sufficient to defeat them, so they are now the new difficulty frontier. I have however also already added a bunch of new prosperity unlocks & useful loot in the Inner Bailey that will help in progressing the side areas to weaken the Inner Bailey.
Prosperity 15 spells have been added, which mostly focus on giving new auto spell options. In particular the very popular Stone Mind I has been added at this level, giving Liora the opportunity to deal a lot more damage. Prosperity 16 also adds more Martials, one of them completly new: "Flanking Strike" gives a new way to exploit the Flanked state and gain Advantage for non-mages.
Finally, there are a bunch of new item formulas. Most of them unlocked at prosperity level 17. Drowse Bombs give you the option to make enemies Drowsy, the Anti-Magic Coating has made it over further increasing your options to increase your survivability and finally you can craft Agility Potions which can be used out of combat to apply a state that increases AGI by 25%. The state is lost as soon as you make a movement but that still means you can use it for example pre combat behind an enemy or to better make use of jump points.
The Inner Bailey also hides the formula for the item "Poison Bomb" which introduces the concept of being weak to a state, leading to more duration, or stacks in the case of Poison to upgrade its abilities into the midgame.
I was a bit worried about the time management since our artist is still unavailable until 18th, so nothing to integrate for me, but a cold that I had since last weak turned out to be corona and simplfied my decision making by making me super sleepy the last couple of days...
Next week, I will focus on quest work to increase the amount of activity variety.
