Added a faction system to the game, factions can have subfactions and internal wars.
My goal is to make each faction evolve over time, forming new alliances and declaring war on eachother. The player can totally ignore the faction system but he will remain a small fish in a tank of hypercapitalistic sharks: factions can do everything the player does but on a massive scale.
By reaching the upper ranks of a faction the game genre will shift from dungeon crawler to paradox style grand strategy, when this part will be done i'll add a custom start in character creation to skip all the rank grinding and just start as the CEO of the Hypercapitalist Collective, as Lady Margareth Thatcher, grand master of the Mages guild or as a cardinal in the court of Pope Emperor Giovanni Paolo III.

The Archive Foundation is the real existing Archive.org turned into a paramilitary corp, devoted to make all information free, Goblins have an individuality but they are also connected to a collective goblin unconscious that acts pretty much like a chan style image board, the Tourists are the grey aliens from Zeta Reticuli and you can interact with them in my game em.Brace that is also a prequel to this game, Jesus has returned, since the Y2K event was the closest thing to the Apocalypse (Most of the atomic arsenal just armed themself and exploded in place), she is now a goth nun estranged from the Vatican Empire who doesn't believe she is really Jesus, did i mention that the Vatican City is now a badass flying fortress armed with slug cannons that just pulverize anything that come close???
Hypercapitalist collective is what happen if the dot come bubble didn't burst, they have the monopoly on OIL and SOULS and plan to turn every aspect of the human experience into a commodity. Capitalism is the only thing keeping sane a society that has experienced multiple ontological shocks, from the reveal of magic to the visit of aliens.
Margareth Thatcher revealed herself as the head of the Mages Guild during the Falkland war, when she commanded the ocean to sink the argentinian fleet, she commands the Loyalist while Sir Alesteir Crowley leads the Traditionalists. The merging of magic and science required for restarting the society post Y2K event created also the Technomancer branch of the Mages Guild, and the 92 schools branch is devoted to experiment and create new types of magic.
