🆕 Devlog Update – Version [T08]

Hello everyone!

A new update for Taco & Olaf’s World Adventure is live. Here’s what’s new in T08:

✅ What’s new in T08

• The story is gradually being reworked.
• Level 14 expanded (continued work on layout and piston logic).
• Obstacles added as standalone objects, supported by “blocks” for future use in the Level Editor.
• The entire level menu has been reworked and redesigned with stage islands, unlock animations and a star counter.
• A new save file stage_stars.cfg has been added to track stage progression.
• Completing a level now returns you to the level menu instead of automatically starting the next level.
• Main menu streamlined: “Continue” and “New Game” removed; “Level Menu” renamed to “Play”.

📌 Roadmap (short)

• 23–25 levels total
• Tutorial
• Level editor
• 4–7 new objects/functions
• More music, SFX & ambient

Ein neues Update für Taco & Olaf’s World Adventure ist da. Das bringt Version T08:

✅ Neu in T08

• Die Story wird nach und nach überarbeitet.
• Level 14 weiter ausgebaut (Layout & Piston-Logik verbessert).
• Hindernisse als eigene Objekte hinzugefügt, unterstützt durch „Blöcke“ für den zukünftigen Level-Editor.
• Das komplette Level-Menü wurde überarbeitet: neue Stage-Inseln, Freischalt-Animationen und ein Sternzähler.
• Neue Speicherdatei stage_stars.cfg zur Verwaltung des Stage-Fortschritts.
• Nach Abschluss eines Levels geht es nun zurück ins Level-Menü statt automatisch ins nächste Level.
• Hauptmenü verschlankt: „Continue“ und „New Game“ entfernt; „Level Menu“ heißt jetzt „Play“.
