Hello, everyone! Thank you again to those who have played so far. We truly appreciate your support. We will continue to develop the game for another month or so to expand the content beyond the current ending, as well as increase variety and refine the balance.
For now, here are some quality of life improvements!
Patch Notes:
• Save System – Both manual and autosaves are now available to choose from. The game will automatically load your progress on restart. You can clear your save (and rewatch the opening) with the Reset File button.
• In an effort to reduce the early game tedium, you can now pick up 3 Cherubs simultaneously from the beginning!
• To give you more control options earlier on, we’ve moved Assign Cherubs (with right click) to first row of prestige upgrades.
• We have also expanded the resource magnet to greatly reduce the need to release when clicking-and-holding to gather.
• Meet the Hallelujah Cherub, aka “Hal”...a tireless fellow with unlimited building-stamina. His gathering increases more and more over time. Unlock him from Prestige row 1!
• Playtime now tracked and displayed at the end – post your times in the comments! (We plan to add achievements to the full game, including a speed run challenge.)
• We are currently developing one or two more buildings to add to this version of the game, and then we will set off to finish the full version, which will feature a branching path and more unique mechanics!
Known issues:
◦ While BigInt allows your total currencies and costs to be essentially unlimited, we’re still working on implementing it on a per-gather basis.
◦ The autosave may cause the browser build to experience a brief lag when it completes. If this is disruptive, please feel free to disable it in the Settings, and save manually instead!
