Hello!
We are releasing permafrost V1.2.1 today. This is mainly a hotfix update, with small additions on top of it. This is being released before our last tester plays the game.
Changelog:
-Added snow outside and to the main menu
The outside looked very flat before, so now there is snow falling down
-The player will now know what they died to in the death menu
This is a temporary solution, but it gets the job done.
-Fullscreen settings
in its lowest form, this is so if needed you can move the game to another screen.
-Fireguy can no longer spawn in windows with broken windows
It can still walk into rooms with broken windows, but that will be fixed next update
-Added 1 new painting
Bug fixes:
-Fixed a dupe with the healing altar or door
-Fixed a bug which caused the player to forever be invulnerable
-Added colliders to non-broken windows
-Added a roof to the starting room
-Changed "QuitToMenu" to "Quit To Menu" in the pause menu
-Fixed fireguy not freezing sometimes
-Slightly changed item spawning
This means that you can now have normal items spawn in that one suitcase thing in the sideroom
As I teased in the changelog, there will be another update for Permafrost later this month. This update will be focussed on improving the things added in this update, fixing more bugs and just improving things in general. We cannot give a good estimate of when this update will be done, as we are all working hard on our final exams. In the devlog for that update (V1.2.2) I will explain the future of Permafrost and anything surrounding it.
