It is with great excitement that I throw my first publicly available game out into the world!
Beserkers Inc is a one-page tabletop roleplaying game designed for fast-paced, one-shot, theatre-of-the-mind games. It is designed around escalation; things getting more and more intense and out of hand. What could go wrong when you hire a group of berserkers to take out your trash? Turns out, a lot.
I've been tinkering with this game for a couple of months, and played it recently with a group of friends. During that first ever game, the berserkers were given a mission to break into the mayor's home and burgle his safe. Over the course of the game, one player became possessed by the spirit of an eldritch giraffe demon that threatened to destroy the world, requiring the other players to work together to bring him down. If these were patch notes, I would write: This is working as intended.
